OLED screens suffer from burn-in due to pixels wearing out unevenly on the screen. The effect is cumulative and can't be fixed by using screensavers. I wouldn't call it "image retention". I have an OLED TV for watching shows and movies and try to be careful to not display static elements for too long. I would never use an OLED as a PC screen for fear of burn-in. |
