Most people I know here in Sweden do their grocery shopping online, that's significantly reducing the car use. I used to drive 15 min x 2 several times a week for groceries, now it's not even once a week. I empathize with driving kids to activities though, most of my car use is probably related to that, and it's more difficult to find alternatives there. |
