I think title should be updated to "Microsoft's Azure DevOps CI: An Unsatisfying Adventure", as all the complaints here are about builds but this service supports lots of other features. My experience with using DevOps nee VSTS was mostly satisfying. For various reasons unrelated to the post, my team ended up installing the build agent on our own bare metal hardware, and other than needing to restart the agent, I didn't have any mission critical issues. Totally agree with all the UI complaints. |
