What are some features that you would look for in a laptop so that you could still be using it in 10 years if you bought it new today?

- User upgradable/servicable parts, notably the battery & HDD

- All hardware supported by open source drivers in the upstream Linux kernel

- Durable frame

- Standard ports which have already been shown to stand the test of time (USB, 2.5mm headphone jack, and HDMI)

- x86_64 or RISC-V architecture

At least a 1080p IPS screen and a decent keyboard (no chiclets) with plenty of travel (I don't care how thick it makes the laptop).
