Your frustration is noted, but I'm afraid there is nothing of substance in this comment to respond to, except to agree that prejudice is bad. My point - in case it was unclear - was that it is entirely reasonable to be defensive when your race or sex is broadly maligned. Even if denigrating statements are strictly based in statistical fact[1], they may still be indicative of prejudice or intended to lend support to discriminatory practices. 1.
