I usually just close feature requests I disagree with. I also reject feature requests that are written so broadly and vague that it could mean anything.

It helps to have written down a clear vision for the project, so everyone can quickly see what kind of feature request even makes sense. From time to time, users do make actually good requests, and I think every good developer should recognize good ideas.

I always insta-close support requests because they have no place on a bugtracker. But I very rarely get such requests in a bugtracker in the first place.
