You're comparing apples and oranges. 61.85% is the top marginal rate in Sweden, not the flat tax rate. On $60K USD pay you pay ~30% in taxes. If you actually wanted to make a factual argument about high taxes in Sweden the tax you're better off looking at payroll taxes. |
