I would like something like this, but open source (my inspiration is codebox.io, which is dead). I might code it actually. My goal would be to have an easy editor, file manager and shell for Docker images that could be installed in one line of bash.

But yes, it would be very nice if it was self hosted and doesn't seem too hard to implement (if you go for the minimum viable product, which is just a terminal), could even run in an docker container that ssh's into the host
