Definitely. I did it for +10 years and I would hate to go back to coding for a living. Now I'm on the "dark side" as a pentester and breaking stuff instead and I love it.

When you reach the point where you don't want to code outside of work, you've lost the passion and you're slowing starting to deteriorate as a developer. It's time to do something else.

Direct, but wise advice. "Deteriorating" is the correct word. Without that extra mile, you won't be surviving more than 3-5 years in this career field.
