This is another market entirely. A lot of those 1400 employees are retail, which can't be auto-scaled away as easily. I mean, if they can make meaningful jobs that pay ok without shady business practices or bad work conditions, more power to them. I'm all for leveraging people more effectively, but sales and in-person support is a nice job I still like being done by humans. |
