| Hello folks, I'm a Software Engineer based in Boston and I've been dabbling with Interledger for a few months now. So I have a use-case for Interledger and wanted to request your comments on it. My idea is similar to what the people at coil.com are doing. Basically, Coil requires that you have a Chrome extension running on your browser for them to be able to make donations to websites. Problem is, most lay-people don't know what browser add-ons are, and they don't care about installing add-ons. Most people don't even use AdBlock. And even if browsers support natively support micro-payments like Brave, consumers will need to continually reload their browser-based wallets. TLDR; it's not dumb enough for the average internet user. But what if we had carrier-level support for micropayments? Consumers pay an extra $10 a month on top of their regular bill and mobile carriers pay the websites small amounts to view their content. Websites with ads get paid a lot less because loading ads and trackers consumes a lot of data. Please see

Similar to what Synchronoss does with their white-label cloud solution for carriers. Please see https://synchronoss.com/products/cloud/personal-cloud-solution/ Thanks!! |
