After seeing the LiveView talk, I too wanted something like it, but in a different (statically-typed) language. Last week, I released a TypeScript framework for server-side React components: https://github.com/karthikv/purview It tries to mirror React in many ways, but like LiveView, components run on the server-side, and the client-server interface is abstracted away. So you can make database queries, contact external services, etc. directly within your components. |
