I am a total beginner in Go but I feel like the enforced uniform formatting is actually a good thing because it makes everyone's code consistent and more readable.

It can be extremely difficult to read other people's code if they use a totally different style even if both of you are good at the same language.

And I feel there is litter point in telling people not to use one language simply because you don't like it. Everyone is different, if you don't like it just use something you like (maybe change job if you have to use it at your current job). There is and will never be a language that EVERYONE likes. Oh did I forget javascript? LOL...

It's one thing to have a healthy debate about how to improve a language.

It's another to keep circle jerking over these anti-x blog posts.
