That we couldn't possibly put any stinky, messy factories up and manufacture in the US. Because Gassée had a hard time with screwdrivers and "you can't bring manufacturing back." All that must be done in China now you see, because reasons It's definitely an agenda, definitely pushed, and fairly absurd. |

The NYT seems to (also) suck at coordinating their “agenda pushing”. It’s almost as if it’s a newspaper publishing ideas that don’t always neatly align to ideology.
