You can get used gear pretty cheap. I've seen boards at my local Good Will, and occasionally people offering gear on FreeCycle. Tickets can hurt. But most hills have specials, etc. Perhaps the times are a bit less convenient but none the less you can avoid full price with some tricks and effort. |
