Headlines should reflect this finding but then that wouldn't garner as many views. It seems that this pay difference argument is often framed as something done maliciously or purposefully by the employer instead of neutral decisions made in response to decisions made by the employee. Naturally whomever is caring for children will want more flexibility at work and receive different pay to accommodate this, regardless of if that person is a man or a woman. |
