I've witnessed plenty of people nabbing scooters in rental trucks or vans during the morning in San Diego. Probably 10-30 stacked all over. It occurred to me how scooters not only are a mode of transportation, but now a resource that people rely on for extra cash. Seems completely justified but oddly weird to me. I haven't witnessed it yet, but I wonder if there have been fights over territory/scooters. |
