A trade war esentially forcing China to be more self sustained. Depending on the definition there are few type of trade wars. One specific event was to ban Intel to ship CPUs for the Chinese supercomputer. The result was a Chinese CPU and Intel financial meltdown. Tariffs are equally bad too. Other instance of this political manovering was a Japanese car production company moving production from the US to China. The list goes on and on. Trump is committing a political suiicide with these. |
