You are right. The 2017 election in France was under the spotlight especially after what happened in 2016 in the US and the Brexit in the UK. EM! (Macron's party) was a victim of massive internet attacks during the campaign.

As far as media go, we have usually and relatively independent media in France, even public. However, foreign entities and especially RT France have been controversial in some of their coverage. |
