Reddit isn't exactly known for its tolerance of sexual content that doesn't harm anyone (or violate anyone's privacy).
What are you thinking of that they took down? Most of the stuff seems to be nonsexual and more political or gorey
The r/lolicon subreddit and they have placed a site-wide ban on posting or linking to cartoon pornography that depicts characters who appear to be fictional children.
