I'm wondering how this is different than add blockers which are allowed in the app stores. In concept it does something very similar: allows the user to circumvent how people get paid for content. I understand that ads can be more dangerous than paywalls but the end result is the same. Is it just that some lawmakers saw one as okay and the other as not? |
