Just curious, but who does that? I can only afford to renew a small handful of domains, never mind 200+. I presume they are all monetized in some way?

In my case, it's return on investment. If I create some code for one city. Why not use that code for city X.com, city Y.com, city Z.com, ... I'm not saying it couldn't be done a different way. Using just one domain.
