The two sibling replies to my own do a good job of enumerating the reasons; - Macros allow you to greatly reduce boilerplate.
- Lots of built in functions that operate on very few types.
- Compact intertop And I agree with wild_preference that this isn't necessarily a good vs. bad debate. It is just a matter of fact that Clojure is concise. |
