I've seen several comments of this ilk today nitpicking the comments of other people on the detail of gendered language. I find them super tiresome and my feeling is they are probably counterproductive. Unless, you know, your real goal is to aggravate everyone and alienate them such that people start wishing women would just go back to being barefoot and pregnant.
