That's funny because I remote start my truck in my tiny garage every day. Literally 2 feet perimeter around the thing. I couldn't believe it fit.

If you start it with the garage door closed that quickly becomes incredibly dangerous.

My truck is a diesel with DEF fluid. Surprisingly you can't smell a thing in there when it's been running for 5 minutes.

The real risk is CO (carbon monoxide) where CO2 makes you breathless and you notice a problem, CO is odorless and inhibits cognitive functions and you really don’t notice anything before death.

PS: DEF only works on NOx compounds.
