At what point are we no longer celebrating a life well lived? Paul Allen loved computing, and funded a living computing museum, along with with another museum dedicated to to pop culture. I wouldn't presume to know how he'd feel about a meme based tribute, but I sure as heck wouldn't feel the need to spit on one for not meeting my own criteria for respectfulness or sincerity. RIP. Paul Allen - one smart cookie, who lived more than most of us ever will. |
