Worth keeping in mind that without SNI, we wouldn't have anywhere near the current level of HTTPS adoption either. It wasn't that long ago I had to sell clients on a separate IP address just to set up HTTPS. Let's Encrypt using SNI allowed me to secure everyone for free. |
