Ask HN: How do you deal being social on your job?

I work as a support engineer for a big company. Part of my job profile is to work on cases on call with customers, which tends to sometimes be with >30 people on the same call. I am an introvert and usually need my own "refresh" time after social interactions. While I enjoy the technical challenges that the job offers, part of the job description still conflicts with me being myself and I tend to go to a dark place every time I have to be overtly social. HN, how do you deal being social on your job? |
