Even in the US, the dmca is irrelevant to individuals for the most part. You can outright throw the notices in the garbage without consequence. I've been doing that since it was passed. Some were legitimate violations, some were not. Either way the company wasted printing and postage. Hell you can ignore DHS letters in some cases. |
