These points all individually look like good advance, but I can't stress #8 enough. GET. A. JOB. I'm a full-time college student attending a relatively cheap state school. I work nearly full-time as a software developer (full-time summers, every chance I get during school). I can afford to live on my own and pay my own tuition. Though I can't tell you where I'll be five years from now, I'm sure that having zero debt and years of work experience won't hinder me. |
