Thanks! Electron indeed has some drawbacks but we are working hard to improve performance as we speak.

So i'm using the system now and whenever i try to use it after stopping for a few minutes, the entire ui is unresponsive. It doesn't appear to have suspended the application. It looks like it happens for around 10 seconds before it finally decides to let me use it.

Indeed we know few users have this specific issue you are referring to. We are looking into it.
