I posted about this last month here and also in Google Chrome forums but no one seemed to care. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=17853092

I guess it’s a matter of timing. And simple, clear messages as a source.
That link leads to me an empty page, is the URL correct?
The submission is marked as [dead] you need to change your settings to see it (enable showdead).
Post was:

> Latest version of Chrome doesn't remove Google cookies when you clear browsing data. I feel like Google is adding super cookies to track users even after clearing browser data.

I find the behavior of HN’s community as a whole, and its effect on submissions and comment scores interesting. I wish there was a way to discuss it, in like a meta-HN.

A few days ago I posted an article about how the EU proposes a new law that could give up to 6 years in jail for social media posts. A discussion got started but for some readon the post was immediately “flagged” and that put an end to all discussions and upvotes on it. Yours, I notice, was “dead” so probably flagged as well?

Probably because the site you linked sucks. Also the 'discussion' was pretty disappointing, some whining about the site and some inflammatory trolling. By one and the same person.
