They're a tool. If they're used to their maximum potential they can improve quality and increase knowledge in the team. I am experienced and welcome reviews. They give me the opportunity to see if the team understands what I wrote or if it still needs to be adapted. When reviewing I check for readability, to see if architectural constraints are respected and also offer advice on design and coding idioms. |
