You need to narrow it down a bit. Know yourself. Find your passion. I know this sounds tacky, but there are sooo many variables in choosing a professional direction. You are the only constant. For example, it is very important to determine what kind of developer you are: quick n dirty, loads of languages, throw out some PoCs and go on or... keep building till it's perfect, 100% coverage, solid docs, etc. Than, what will you build? Embedded, games, web, medical, imaging, AI, infosec, etc? Answer both questions and your next step will be easier to define. |
