My story was: vim (5 years) -> emacs (7 years) -> sublime (2 years) -> atom (1 year) -> vscode (2 years and counting). Switch from vim to emacs is obvious.
Switch from emacs to sublime was triggered by moving from Linux to MacOS (my Thinkpad was failing after diving in a tropical rain so I bought a brand new MacBook). |
