>If we're that social, why... We're also tribal, and we don't see those people (pizza worker, grocer, etc.) as part of our tribe. People need a central rallying "thing." Historically this has been genetics, religion, that sort of thing. This is one of the downfalls of multiculturalism, we have not yet figured out what to put as the central "thing" for us to feel like we're all part of the same tribe. |
