I had a similar experience in High School late 80s (Jamaica HS, NY). We had Pascal, x86 Assembly, Some C. The computer teacher was also our physics teacher. It was an excellent set of courses that taught some basics of programming and hardware architecture and we learned. There was a computer club where we interfaced with a laser disc player. Some really cool time back then. I was lucky to have my C=64/128 and Amiga 500 to extend my learning experience, with C. Peace. |
