Where did you get 0.2 deaths per billion passenger km? The EU typically cites a value of 0.14 for the EU-28. Numbers are (statistically) worse in the least developed EU members, and better in more developed ones. For example in both the UK and Germany it was 0.06 in the last two year periods I looked at. So how much can we improve? Well apparently a LOT. |
