New grads can’t make $125K in those 20 cities, but they can find comparable salaries vs. cost of living. You can live comfortably in a nice area in the burbs in many American metro areas off of $70K - $90K. I could do much better making $90K in most major metros that are not on the west coast or New York than I could do in SV for $125K. |
