I think the article mentions the core problem. It’s not necessarily the people can’t move down (although that would be good) it’s that we don’t take into account the skills of the job the person is GOING to when deciding if they should be promoted to it. If that was the criteria used maybe this problem wouldn’t exist in the first place. |
