A minority of the people won. Let's be clear there. Due to the House being capped, the GOP can hold 55.2% of the seats with 49.9% of the votes. Talking purely votes, not population. And that's even ignoring the snarky comment about the people that voted the current majority in being from the less economically useful areas. |
