Well, second. These are the first two sentences:

Yes. The article says that they pay immigrant visa holders less, not that paying them less is the reason that they supposedly did this:

At the same time, if you clearly didn't read the article, you should expect to be called out on it.
Please don't quote Hacker News guidelines to people. Particularly when those people have been members for over seven years.
