Yeah, it is always disappointing that there aren't more startups around doing hardware. I think a large portion of that is that hardware is quite expensive to develop and requires a lot of space. From the YC perspective it doesn't really work with the 3 month rapid iteration schedule, that is barely enough time to get tooled prototypes. |
