Id say the highest you could possibly call "low carb" is ~100 g/day. That'd be ~400 cal/day, or 20% of a 2000 cal/day diet. And really 100 g/day is a lot. Most people on "low carb" diets are going to be eating half or a quarter of that. So, this is just more ridiculous nutrition research funded by the US government, produced by academia. |
