This sort of "tactical positioning" on internet privacy is where I was prior to that year. The fact of the mater is that "personal threat exposure", while not completely irrelevant, misses the forest for the trees. It's not YOU they're trying to manipulate, it's the herd. And it works. And that eventually comes around to impacting you just as personally as if you'd posted your bank account number and ssn on facebook. |
