Could you set up accounts for those clients, send the credentials to the people you demo'd to, and see if they start using the product? After they've used it for 2 weeks, call them again.

Freemium model def works with my $100/month clients and I am shifting my focus to them because sales cycle is shorter. Shorter as in couple days.
Oh, yeah -- that's a good suggestion. Or freemium model.
