Are Americans outliers in loneliness? I know Pinker mentions this in Enlightenment Now, but I feel like it's glossed over a bit since it doesn't really align with his thesis. I'm very interested in the reasons for this, though. Loss of community structures without replacements? (Wider spread families for work, not going to church...) |
