I'm a fan of the public/military service as payment for higher education (or vocation educational, albeit for less time). It's possible to also serve and learn concurrently for a period of time. 1. Provides government with cheap, high-quality workers.
2. Teaches leadership, discipline and other necessary soft-skills. |
