I think 1password discourages it too, the option to add a 2fa code is pretty hidden.

Marking something as "2FA enabled" is super easy in comparison.

If you're not tracking your 2FA code through 1Password you get a big warning banner[1].

Just add the "2FA" tag and the banner goes away :)

I was saying doing that is easier than adding 2FA through 1Password.
