As a person living in (or rather very near) Helsinki, I can tell you already that in many cases public transport is just better than having a car. I can take the train from my home to work in 20 minutes, whereas it would take at least 30 minutes (with the additional bonus of stress) with car. The only reason I can imagine needing a car would be if I had children. |
